Sarah’s Place Celebrity Waiter Dinner
Annual Report
As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, we have published our income and expenses for FY 2007-2008. We also have our 990 form posted on-line for you so see.
The IRS Form 990 is titled "Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax." It is submitted by taxexempt organizations and nonprofit organizations to provide the Internal Revenue Service with annual financial information. Public Inspection IRC 6104(d) regulations state that an organization must provide copies of its three most recent Form 990s to anyone who requests them, whether in person, by mail, fax, or e-mail.
Additionally, requests may be made via the IRS using Form 4506-A, and PDF copies can often be found online on sites such as Foundation Center's 990 Finder and Guidestar.org. |
Last October, Sarah’s Place received a donation of 387 pieces of Department 56 Christmas Villages. We proudly announce that they are now available through Craig’s List, an internet selling agency. A Piece of the Pie That Tells the Story
We are glad to report that, next to payroll expenses, our greatest expenses are incurred through our programs.
Your donations are being put to work where they will have the greatest return: in the lives that are changed in our Child Development Center, and through the variety of classes we offer. Thank you for believing in, and supporting us.
Your unrestricted donations have given us most of the funds we need to operate. We continue to be amazed and grateful for your financial support. We, too, face the realities of the economic issues that confront our nation, our state, and our poor little corner of Appalachia.
We firmly believe that the work of Sarah’s Place is the work of God. Together we can do what alone is impossible. |
